Saffron Rice
I’m not mad about saffron, but I am mad about adding this saffron rice alongside a Mediterranean chicken dish like this.
Ingredients
- One shallot
- 1 tbsp butter
- Pinch of saffron threads
- 1 cup jasmine white rice
- 3/2 cup chicken broth
Steps
- Sauté a shallot in a tablespoon of butter
- Add a pinch of saffron, the jasmine white rice, and the chicken broth.
- Cook 20 mins and let stand for 10 mins (or follow your rice instructions)
